SPV Accounts is run by Northside Software Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17527774, 114 Clapham Common North Side, London SW4 9SW. We are the controller of the personal data described here.
If you join the waiting list
- We collect your email address, and the time you joined. Nothing else.
- We use it for one thing: to email you when SPV Accounts opens, with the price and the opening date. You asked us to when you joined.
- Your internet address is used when you submit the form, to limit repeated or automated submissions.
- We keep your address until you ask us to remove it. Reply “remove” to any email from us.
If you have an account
- Your email address, and your password as a salted hash (never in readable form).
- The companies you add: what Companies House publishes about them, found from the company number you give.
- The bank statement lines you upload, what you say each was for, and the properties, mortgages and year-end figures you enter. These are the books from which the accounts and tax return are prepared.
- The signatures and approvals of the directors.
- We use these to provide the service you asked for, and to keep it secure.
- SPV Accounts never asks for your online banking login and never connects to your bank: you upload files.
- Each company’s books can only be opened by the account that added it.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare hosts the site and the database it is stored in.
- Resend sends our emails.
- Companies House: only a company number is sent, to look the company up.
- When filing with Companies House and HMRC opens, the accounts and tax return are sent to them, because filing is the service. We will update this notice then.
We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising. At the time of writing this site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. A signed-in account uses a cookie to keep you signed in.
